Electronic lock «RIFF-02» can be installed in the door, opened as from the left side so from the right side. Before installing it needs to be sure that there is a keyhandle
without controlling compartment on the external door side.
Into the lock set, delivered from the factory the lock controlling compartment is placed into the left keyhandle.
NB!!! Before mounting define which of the keyhandles (left or right) should be on the external door side.
The left keyhandle is a handle, which is suitable for pressing buttons by the left hand, and correspondingly by the right hand.
If by chance the lock is installed when there is a left keyhandle on the inner door side the lock installation should be made
from here.
If an external handle is a left one, in such a case it is necessary the controlling compartment and the battery compartment to be changed over in this way:
From the right keyhandle, loosen two screws and take off the plug 1 (see pic. 1).
On the inner side of the right keyhandle bottom (the battery compartment), take off the plug 2 (see pic.2), having swung the fixing latch on the plug axis (see pic. 2). Push the plug from the inside and put it out of the keyhandle body.
From the left handle, take the cable of the keypad board out of the socket of controlling compartment (see pic. 3).
From the left keyhandle, put out the controlling compartment with power supply hold by means of loosening two screws (see pic. 3).
Take pushers of operation mode shifting buttons (see pic.4) from the left keyhandle and insert them into the right keyhandle (see pic. 5).
In the aperture of the battery compartment cover turn the screwdriver counter-clockwise till it stops and take the cover out of the left handle (see pic. 6).
Mount the controlling board with the battery cartridge into the right keyhandle the same it was mounted into the left one, and secure it with two screws.
Connect the cable of keypad board to the socket of inner keyhandle connection (see pic. 3).
Insert the plug 2 into the left keyhandle and fix it (
see pic. 2).
Insert the plug 1 into the left keyhandle and fix it with two screws took out of the right keyhandle.
